George Thomas, and Co. report produce prices as follows : — Owing to the holidays, business during tfce week has been exceedingly quiet, and there is little alteration on last week's prices. We quote flour from I*9 10s to LtO 10s per ton ; pollard, Xi 3 15s and bran L 3 10s per ton; {owls' wheat, plentifully supplied and ruling from 3s 6d per bushel; there is 1 very little enquiry for oats, at short milling 2s to 2s 3d, and common to fair feed Is 9d to 2s; oatmeal is unaltered at L 9 5s to.L9 10s; oaten «traw chaff, L 3 to L 3 ss; sheaves, L 4 to L 4 5s per ton ; barlej, 3s to 8s 2d ; beans 3s lOd to 4s ; maize, 4s to 4s 3d respectively; old potatoes continue scarce, and met ready sale at L 2 15s per ton for good -quality ; onions are rather plentiful, and. little demand at L 9 10s to LlO per ton ; new cheese, 4d to 4}; old do, 2d per lb; hams and bacon, bare Bd, clothed B£d; farmers' cure, 2d to 4d; new potatoes are plentiful at 5s to 5s 6d; gre<n peas, 4a to. 4s 6d per sack; rhubarb, 4s per doz ; eggs, Is to Is Id per. idealisations at auction yesterday — Melbourne Florence cherries (of which there were only a few cases), 20s per £-case ; Orlean plums, 10s 6d ; cherry plums, 6s 6d to 7s 6d per £-case. There was a brisk demand for Sydney oranges at 15s to 18s per case; lemons, 10; pears, 14s to 16s per case ; American oranges, 16e to 20s Sydney do, 12s to 14s: Poultry — There has been little doing this week, and we give last week's quotations — fowls 2s 6d to 2s 9d ; ducks, 3s 6d to 4s; geese, 5s 6d to 6s; and turkeys, 7s *6d to 8s 6d per pair.
