Suicide at Awahuri

Yesterday afternoon information was brought in to Constable Moehan that another suicide had been committed at Awahuri. The following are the particnlara of the unhappy event as far as we can gather : — A young man named David Browning was working with- his father falling bush for Mr Mac Donald. He told his father he was going away for a minute or two. Some time having elapsed without his coming back to work, his father went to look for him and discovered his son hanging to a tree by a piece, of green flax round his neck. The unhappy father at once cut down the' body of his son, but life was quite extinct. An inquest was held at Awahuri this afternoon. Much sympathy is expressed for the father of deceased, who is a very respectable settler residing at Campbelltown. \
