The potatoe market is completelyglutted with New Zealand potatoes, some 30,000 bags are mow for sale, and prices are as low as 255. to 30s per ton for New Zealand samples, with ,a falling market. What, a price/for our produce! Why not send back ito New Zealand and aell at' less tfiain L 3 per 'ton? Butter is selling at 6d to 7d for prime samples, bacon Bfd, bran 8d to Bid, chaff L 5 5s per ton, honey 4d to sd, lard 2d per lb, maize 2s 8d to 3« lid. Oats, steady at ls 9d to 2s 3d, oatmeal well stocked, wattlebark L 6 15s per ton. .Timber, prime pine logs 8s to 8s 6d.rr Jubilee Herald.
