Borough Matters
In our correspondence column to«dai there appears a letter from a " Rate payer" which is worthy of th< attention of the Public Worki Committee of the Borough. I "Ratepayer" is correct in his state ments, it would appear that neglec has been shown somewhere, and th< need of the work — which was pointec out by Councillor Chamberlain some months ago— is imperative. We hope that Councillor Chamberlain wil bring the matter up again at th< meeting of the Council to be held or Thursday next, when means can bt decided upon to remove the obstructions mentioned by "Katopayer." Qui correspondent should, however, re< member, before he casts blame on the Public Works Committee, they have very limited means at their disposal which require to be very judiciously applied.
