The Ed uent ion-' Department has received a letter from the A«ent»General, enclosing prospectus of Colonial Scholarships, proposed to have been founded br the Oxford Military College. Two scholarships of LSO and L 25 respectively, will be offered in each ef the principal colonies, finable for three years. Competitors to be between the ages of 14 and 16 .\enrn. If the proposal should be.ap* s proved in the Colony, the College will ask the Universities of New Zealand and OUgo whether they would be willing to Conduct the examination of New Zealand candidates.
