Cattle also sold more freely at Feilding. We had large entiles "of sheep at Awahuri /and Feilding, and ; a good many at Mar-, ton; We sold every sheep at Awahuri excepting a pen of ewes in each case at Marton and Feilding. Fat wethers now promise a better mice , this year as compared with last. We quote :—-. Cattle.— -Awahuri-— Fat cows, «£3 5/-; 18-month steers, £2 5/- ; cows, 31/- ; milkers, £5 5/-. Feilding— Fat cows, £3 10/;-; forward bullocks, £3 16/6 to £4 5/6 ; fat bullocks, £0 15/- ; 3-year steers, £3 10/r; 18-month steers, £2 5/- to £2 9/6; good weaners (mixed), 22/6; 2 to 2*-year steers, £2 14/-; calves, 14/6; milkers, £3 2/6 to £4 7/-. , Sheep.— Awahuri— Fat wethers, 10/1 ; forwards wethers, 9/3 to 9/9 ; 2-tooth wethers, S/l 5 . 2-tooth ewes in lamb, 9/6 ; ewes in lamb in ages, 7/7 to ,8/6 ; full mouth, 4/6 to 6/5. Marton — Fat wethers, 10/3 ; full mouth, ewes in lamb, 4/- ; lambs, 6/-. Feilding— Fat wethers, 10/---to 10/10; store wethers, 8/7; ewes in lamb m. ages; 7/9 to 8/8; full mouth, 3/6 to 5/-; lambs, 5/6 to 6/-.
