Among th« Wellington oaadidatei «t . the ensuing elections will be Mr Charles Luke, of Te Aro, who is expected to contest the new city electorate, which will- - probably -be called Central Wellington. It 19 now said that Mr Walter Johnston will not contest any seat at tbe - general V election. Mr Arthur Brown is reported to be a certain candidate for one of the city seats.
