"■ ' | Auckland, #une 9. j Mr Frederick Alexander Whitnker (son of the ex-Premier, Sir Frederick Whitaker, X.C.M.6.), formerly member for Wai pa, committed, suicide this even* ing, about half-past 5, in the Auckland Club, by shooting himself through the head with a revolver. Mr Whitaker leaves a widow, a daughter of Mr Alfred Cos, of Waikato, and three children. The news of the suicide caused a pro* found sensation. • ■ - - ■ Wellington , June 10. - At the R. M.
