A Peculiar Case
I*BH UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION."! Donedin, April 7. His Honor Mr Justice Williams gave judgment to-day in a r»ther peculiar case to rectify an ante-nuptual Settlement. The terms of the deed divested the plaintiff, Mrs C. Anderson, nee" Cargill, of all interest* in a property. Except her husband should predecease her property was to go to the children, but as there was no issue even in the event of her husband's death she could only obtain an interest in the property, the bulk of which would go to her brother and sister. Th« action was to set aside this settlement. The Judge gave a verdict for the plaintiff, and decreed that as the deed had been executed when Mrs '"^Andersen was an infant and had not been confirmed by her, it was void* and she was entitled to the real estate and to an equity to a settlement in respect of the property which passed to her husband on the marriage.
