HACK HTJKDLE BACE, 10 soys. ; second horse, 2 soys. : (from racing fund) , distance, 1 mile and a distance; over 5 flights of hurdles. For horses that have never won public money or been nominated for an advertised race 6 months prior to date of entry, Hunter's and Hack races excepted. Weights not less than lOst. Post entry. Entrance, £1. To start at 12 noon. 3. MAIDEN PLATE, 25 soys.-; distance, 1 mile and a half. Entrance,--£l. - Weight for age. Open to all horses that have never won an advertised race of the value 'of 25 soys. prior to date of entry. Any horse entered for the Maiden Plate winning an ' advertised race between the time of entry arid date of race to carry a penalty of olbs. To start at 12.30 p.m. 4. For horses the bond fide property of resi - dents in the Eangitikei, Manawatu, and Oroua Counties, 3 months prior to date of entry. Winner of Feilding Handicap to carry Tibs penalty. To start at 2.30 p.m. T. WINTER OATS HANDICAP, 30 soys. ; distance, 1| miles. Nomination, £1 ; acceptance, £1. To start at 3.15 p.m. 8. SELLING HAVE. 10 soys. ; post entry, 1 soy. , distance, once round the course ; weight not less than 9st. Opea to all Horses that have never won public money, or been nominated for an advertised race, 6 months prior to date of entry, (Hunter's and Hack Races excepted). The winner of this race to be sold immediately after the race for the sum of £15 ; any surplus over this amount -to go to the club funds. To start at 3.45 p.m. 9. CONSOLATION HANDICAP, 15 soys. ; distance, once round the course. For all beaten horses. GENERAL ENTRIES & ACCEPTANCES For Handicap Hurdles, Feilding Handicap. Winter Oats, and District Race, will close on Monday, March 28th, at 8.30 p.m. RULES & REGULATIONS. No Entry will he received for any Races except upon this condition : That all Disputes, Claims, and Objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those tvhom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this Programme shall he final. ♦ All Entries to be Sealed and addressed to the Secretary, Feilding ; Entrance Money enclosed with Name, Age at the time of Entry, Pedigree, and, in the mxc \ of Handicaps, Performances of the Horse, Name of the Owner, and Colors of the Rider, Any jockey riding except in the colors entered will be fined 3 soys. When two or more horses start (the property of the same owner) a Distinguishing Color must be worn. All persons intending to withdraw hor* ses, are requir d to give Notice to that effect to the Secretary or Clerk of the Scales one half-hour before Advertised time of starting. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this Rule shall pay a fine qfo soys. to the Race Fund All races to be run under the W.J. C. • Rul<s. Horses walking over uill only receive half the Stakes. No horse to nave i's Stakes in any race except where otherwise specified. All Entrits and Nominations must be in the hands of the Secretary at the time and place as advertised, accompanied by the amount of nominations and entrance money. Post marks will not be received under any pretence ichatever, and nominations unpaid at the time of due date of weights will be struck off the list. Penalties in above Programme not to be cumulative.
