Is lid to 2s, ami short samples ut 2s 2d ; black and dun descriptions are scarce at 2s 8d to 2s 9>l ; oatmeal, £10 10s for Duncan's and other leading brands; oaten sheaf chaff, £4 10s ; oaton straw do, 3s Kid ; flour— the market scorns to have opened without the usual difference existing in quotations for roller or stone process, and all brands which are well known are rtilinsj at identie.-il ratps. £10 to £10 5s per ton ; whentme.il, £10 10s ; bran, £4; pollnrd, £4 lO.n ; fowl wheat, 3s 3d to 3s 8d per busliH ; feed barley, 2s 9d to 2s lOd ; maize, out of stock, nominnl value 4s 6d ; peas 3s 6d ; benns, 3s 9d ; cocksfoot grass seed, 3|d per Ib ; rye grass 3s 9d per bushel ; onions, £6 Derwent potatoes 52s 6d to 55s per ton ; salt butter does not command the slightest attention and is quite unsaleable at even 6'd per lb for prime parcels ; fresh is not. so firm as when last quoting, but still commands 8d ; eggs have become very scarce and are worth up to Is 8d and Is 8d and Is 9d for guaranteed lots ; chee-e remains overstocked and dull at 5d per lb ; honey sd. Poultry of all descriptions has been (airly rushed on the market, and consequently, every available outlet being filled, prices are somewhat low, fowls ruling as low as 2s 9d ; ducks, 3s ; goose ss ; turkeys, 9s per pair. We offered Sydney consignments of fruit on Wednesday aad usual Ho hurt shipments to»day the descriptions comprising apples, pears plums, oranges and lemons, realised at moderate returns ; quinces are moving off freely at Id to l£d per Ib, according to the size of the package "
