Among the items by the Sydney mail is the following clipped from Sydney files:—" An American paper contains information relating to a probable suit f for divorce by the Princess Louise from the' Marquis of Lome. A Canadian journal says the rumour caused no surprise, and goes on to state that the naughty things talked ab<>nt the late Governor General would fill a book. Visitors at Bideau Hall all noticed the strained relaiion* between tl>e Marquis and Princess. The cause of the trouble is said to be an educated young girl, who through the failure of her father was reduced to the position of governess and having gamed the entre • of gube • natural society, she was a constant visitor and openly boasted th^t she had fasc* mated the .Vlarquis and had letters trom him, Tf the suit should be commenced.
