The annual general meeting of th< Manchester Football Club was held ai Hastie's Hotel on Saturday last. Mi Edmund Good heh ere presided. Pro sent Messrs R, and J. Whisker, Evans Benson, W. Fetch, Gregory, Say well Roe, Manning, Gurney and Leth bridge. Mr Sherwill was elected President of the club, and Mr E E. Goodbehere Hon. Secretary. The following were elected as t working committee: — Messrs Evans Manning, Saywell, E. Whisker, Ko< and Gregory. Mr Gregory was appointed captaii for the season. The opening match will be played on the oval on Saturday the 16th inst Maoris v. The Club.
