HACK HURDLE RACE, 10 soys. ; second horse, 2 sovs. (from racing fund), distance, 1 mile and a distance; over 5 flights of hurdles. For horses that have never won public money or been nominated for an advertised race 6 months prior to date of entry, Hunter's and Hack races excepted. Weights not less than lOst. Post entry. Entrance, £1. To start at 12 noon. 3. MAIDEN PLATE, 25 sovs. ; distance, 1 mile and a half. Entrance, £1. Weight for age. Open to all horses that have never wan an advertised race of, tho value of 25 sovs. prior to date of entry. Any horse entered for the Maiden Plate winning an advertised race between the time of entry and date of race to carry a penalty of slbs. To start at 12.30 p.m. 4. FEILDING HANDICAP, of 100 sovs. , second horse, 10 sovs. (fromthe racing ., fund) ; distance, 2 miles. Nomination. £i ; acceptance, £2. The winner of any Handicap to the value of 100 sovs. after the declaration of weights to carry 71bs extra. To start at 1.15 p.m. 5. HACK RACE, 10 sovs. ; once round the course, 9st up, The winner of_the Hack Hurdles to cany penalty of 71bs. .Same conditions as No. 2. Entrance, £1. To start at 2 p.m. 6. DISTRICT RACE HANDICAP, 25 sovs. ; second horse, 3 sovs. (from tho racing fund); distance, 1 mile. Nomination, £1 ; acceptance, £1. For horses the bond fide property of residents in the Earigilikei, Manawatu, and Oroua Counties, 3 months prior to date of entry. Wiauer of Feilding Handicap to carry 71bs penalty. To start at 2.30 n.m. 7. WINTER OATS HANDIO \P, 30 sovs. ; distance, l£ miles. Nomination. £1 ; acceptance, £1. To start at 3.15 p.m. 8. SELLING U.\CE. 10 mvs. ; post entry, 1 sov. , distance, once round the course ; weight: not less than 9st. Opea to all noises that have never won public money, or been nominated for an advertised race, 6 months prior to date of entry, (Hunter's and Hack Races exeepted). The winner of this race to be sold immediately after the race for the sum of £15 ; any surplus over this amount to go to the club funds. To start at 3.45 p.m. 9. CONSOLATION HANDICAP, 15 sovs. ; distance, once round tho course. For all beaten horses. Entrance, £1 To start at 4.30 p.m. NOMINATIONS For Handicap' Hurdles, Feilding Han dicap, Winter Oats, and District Race, will be received, addressed to the Secretary', Jockey Club, Feilding, on Monday, -March 14th, at 8.30 p.m. ' : WEIGHTS Will he declared on Monday, March 21st. GENERAL ENTRIES & ACCEPTANCES For Handicap Hurdles," Feilding Handicap, Winter Oats, and District Race, will close on Monday, March 28th, at 8.30 p.m. RULES & REGULATIONS. No Entry will be received for any Races except upon this condition: That all Disputes, Claims, and Objections arising out of the raring shall he decided by a majority of the- Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this Programme shall be final. All Entries to be Sealed and addressed to the Secretary, Feilding ; Entrance Money enclosed with Name, Age at the time of Entry, Pedigree, and, in the case of Handicaps, Performances of the Horse, Name of the Owner, and Colors of the Rider, Any jockey riding except in the colors entered will be fined 3 sovs. When two or mare horses start (the property of the same owner) a Distin guixhing Color must be worn. All persons intending to withdraw hor* ses, are reauir d to give Notice to that effect to the Secretary or Clerk of the Scales one half-hour before Advertised time of starting. Any person neglecting or rejusing to comply with this Rule shall pay a fine of 5 sovs. to the Race Fund All races to be run under the W.J.C. RuLs. Horses walking over uill only receive half the Stakes. No horse to save i's Stakes in any race except where otherwise specified. All Entries and Nominations must be in the hands of the Secretary at the iime and place as advertised, accompanied by the amount of nominations and entrance money. Post marks will not be received under any pretence whatever, and nomin* aiions unpaid at the time of due date of weights will be struck off the list.
