A resident of Halcombe has just dropped into a little legacy, by the death of a relative, of £5000. He is as well as can be expected. We regret to learn that Dr Macintyre, of Palmerston, is suffering from bloodpoisoning caused by a wound on his right hand, inflicted when making a post mor« tern examination.
