AT THE FORESTERS' HALL FEILDING, ON Wednesday Evening Next, February 9th. Admission, Free. Ladies particularly invited. During tlio ovoning Mr Clapcott_ will .say a few words regarding the object of his visit. TinHE Press throughout the Colony X bears witness to the power Mr Clapcott possesses as a most instructive and amusing lecturer, as well as being the best amateur reader in the Colony. — Evening Post. Mr Clapcott has the rare power of putting his audience in complete sympathy with himself, and this faculty, with a voice under perfect command, and a pleasant address, constitute the charm of elocution. Mr Clapeott is the fortunate possessor of all these essentials, and it is therefore not surprising that he has from end to end of the Colony obtained a high reputation as an elocutionist. — Foxton Paper. As a reader Mr Clapcott would draw a house anywhere, and his style of handling his subjects found a re sponsive echo in the hearts of many who almost imperceptibly felt themselves carried away with the scenes so graphically described and so truthfully reproduced. We have heard few better readers than Mr Clapcott, or few to which an audience could listen with more enjoyment. — Chronicle. Mr Clapcott possesses elocutionary powers of great oonipass. — Marlborough Express. We pronounce Mr Clapcott's readings a great success. He possesses a powerful voico and a largo fund of pathetic and humorous delineation of character, and a visit to his entertainment will well repay anyone who has a taste for the higher order of , literature.— Bruce Herald.
