(PEB UNITED PBKSS ASSOCIATION ) Auckland, January 31. Arthur. Crawford, aged 27, stepson of Mr Roynes, of Waiuku, left his home iv a nude state on Sunday morning and has not. since been heard of. Re is evidently insane. Oamaru. January 31. Ou Saturday, a man named George Turner, residing at Hakateremea, was gored to death by a cow. He leaves a wife and one child. Invkrcabgill, January 31. A maori named Henare Huru Hurunui has commed suicide at Riverton. A girl named Rose Fisher, aged four aud a-half years, was drowned on Saturday. The body was found in about Bft of water. A man named James Payne, was killed to-day at the Five Rivers by ! the capsizing of a dray. CHHisrcHUBCH. January 31. On Saturday evening James Coulter Pateman, 21 years of ago, was killed at Woodend, by being run over by a dray of firewood. The horse bolted, and he ran alongside aud got hold of tho reins, but fell uuder tho dray.
