New Year's Handicap Hurdles, of lOOsovs. — Omatu 1, Master A^ues 2, Tiger 3. Dividend, £35 Bs, Members' Purse, of lOlKsovs. All the horses were scratched but Nelson, and Brown cantered him over the course. Aucland Racing Club) Handicap, of 400sovs. — Waitivi 1, Derringer 2, Clogs 3. Turquoise, Cinderella, Victoria, Friendship, and Creuiorne also ran. Waitiri won easily by 5 lengths from Derringer, a small length separating Clogs from the second horse. The others came in scattered. Time, Smin. ssec. Dividend, £2 13s. Selling Hurdles, of 50 soys. — Blarney 1, Pipi 2, Rob Eov 3. Dividend, £7 3s.
