Gold at Marton
[PER UNITKD PRKSS ASSCIATIOtf.j Wellington, D'cemher 29. The report of .James Blackett, Assistant Engineer, on the recent discovery of gold at Marton while sinking a well, says, from prospects he has seen, the gold is not present in payable quantities at the depth (40 feet reached, though, owing to the fineness cf the gold there is some difficulty in saving it by the ordinary process.
