A Novel Resson for a Divorce
A summary way of Cutting rtd of an old wife, (writes tnsfelSarig correspondent of the Daily Telegraph) has just been discovered by an elderly satyr, name* Grieheia, who dwelt near the woodlands of Bas Meudon, outside Paris. Griohois, when brought before the magistrates, on a oharge of having sent his wife adrift, and thus caused her to beg on the public roads, cooly replied that she was too old, that gb-iwas skin-dried, and that ho wanted to replace her by a youthful person who could radiate more heat. This species of argument did not convince the magistrate, who ordered Grichois to take his wife home, which he did reluctantly. He now threatens to obtain a judicial separation, hoping that the higher Court will pay more attention to his extraordinary logic.
