COMMERCIAL

The prizes realised at our stock sales at Bulls last week had an upward tendency both for cattle and sheep. The yards were well filled and we sold all the cattle, excepting 2 cow, and all the sheep. The attendance was good, the bidding more spirited, resulting in a very satisfactory sale. We quote as follows: — 2-yr steers, £3 2/6 to £3 5/-; forward bullocks, £5 5/-; 18-month steers, £2 5/« yearlings and 18 -month steers, £2 0/6; yearling and 18-month heifers, £1 7/- ; store cows, £2 5/- ; fat cows, £3 ; yearling steers, Ll 15/-; mixed weaners, 18/-. Sheep — Forward wethers, 7/- ; 2-tooth wethers, 6/5 to 6/9 ; 2-tooth mixed, 5/H; fat ewes, 6/11. Bulls, December 2§, 1886.
