THROUGH TRAINS TO, AXD FROM WELLINGTON, CHRISTMAS EVE AND BOXING NIGHT. On Friday, 24th, and Monday, 27th December, the usual 4.15 p.m. train to Palmerston will not leave Wanganui till 7 p.m. ; arriving at Longburn" at 11.45 p.m. The Wellington-Mana-watu Company's train will connect at Longburn, and will arrive in Wellington about 4 a.m. Special trains will also leave Wellington at 6 p.m. on 24th and 27th December, arriving in Wanganui about 4 a.m. on 25th and 28th December, stopping at intermediate Stations on route. Excursion Tickets will be available by these trains. CHRISTMAS DAY. On Saturday, 25th December, trains will run as under : — The usual 7 a.m., Palmerston to Longburn The usual 11.20 a.m. Longburn to Wanganui The usual 1.20 p.m. Wanganui to Longburn The usual 1.5 p.m. Palmerston to Foxton The usual 3.35 p.m. Foxtou to Palmerston The usual 7.20. p.m. Longburn to Palmersten. All other trains south of Wanganui will be suspended. BOXING DAY. FEILDING SPORTS & PALMERSTON RACES. On Monday, 27th December, a Special JL J assenger Train will leave Wanganui at 6.30 a.m. ; Feilding 10.5 a.m., arriving at Palmerston at 10.50 a.m. ; and retnrning will leave Palmerston at 5.50 p.m. ; Feildiug 6.30 p.m., arriving at Wangauui at 10.5 p.m. On this date the usual 1.5 p.m. Palmerston to Foxton, and 3.3*5 p.m. Foxton to Palmerston will be suspended, and in lieu thereof the following trains will run : — Leaving Palnierston. at 6.15 a.m. for Foxton, and leaving Foxton at 8 a.m., and Palmerston 9.25 a.m., arriving at Feildiug at 10.5 a.m. ; returning will leave Feilding at 5 .45 p.ia. , and Palmerston at 6.45 p.m., arriving at Foxtou at 8.5 p.m., and leaving Foxton at 8.20 p.m., arriving at Palmer- > ston at 9.4Q p.m. The above trains on 27th inst., j will stop at Cam.den street crossing, Feilding to put, dowu aud pick up I passengers.
