TO THE EDITOR OF TRE STAR*
Sir, — In your report of the last meeting of the School Committee' you state, that Mr Dowling was unable to get up a, concert in aid of ths school prraes. I sea Mr Fowles went down to. Bunnythorpa last night, and gave a magic lantern entertainment in aid of the school prizes, there, and realised a good sum in aid of the Prize fund Mr Fowles. only- -wants asking to give the same magic lantern entertainment here in aid of our awn school prizes, and with the aid of our local talent in the shape of a few songs and recitations a capital entertainment could be got up with very; little, trouble, hoping the powers; that, 'bar /will take the, hint— l am &c, Cokkiisuu
