The catalogue comprised 5000 bales, of which 4000 bales were sold. Competition was brisk, and good prices were realized fot light and sound merinos, fine erossbreds, and superior lambs, but broad merinos, short combings and ordinary scoured wools were in poor demand. Greasy wool sold up to ll£d, scoured to I7d and washed fleeoe te 15d.
