The following may be accepted as correct current quotations for dairy and jrarden produce :— Fresh butter has only limited inquiry at 6kl to 7d per lb ; a few kegs of newly-potted butter is offer* injj at B>i ; eggs fairly brisk at lOd to lOjd ; cheese, 6d to 6§d ; new potatoes have fallen to 5s per cwt, in consequence oE the competition now existing between the loenl produce and usual consignments from Onehunga ; green peas are steady at 5d to 6d per peek ; gooseberries, 2d to 3d per quart ; rhubard, 3« 6d to 4s per doz. Oranges ruled from 8s to 13s ; lemons, 6s to 12s ; mandarins, 7s to 12s ; pines, 10s to 15s per case ; plums, 9u to lls ; apricots 7s to 12s ; pears, 5s to 7» ; cheries 5s to 9b per half" cm se ; bananas, 5s to 10s 6d ; coeoanufcs, 8s to 9s ; pea« nuts, 3d per lb ; fowls, 3s 9d ; ducks, 4s ; turkeys, 9s ; and geese, 7s per pair.
