The Bulgarian Crisis

De Freycinet, Premier, made a statement to the Chamber to-day, in which he said France was not affeoted by the Bulgarian difficulty beyond a general interest of the Powers in preserving Turkey and the balance of power in the Mediterranean. The Egyptian question, he stated, touched France and Italy. She would not allow any foreign power to be mistress there. The Government he added, had urged on England the necessity of an early settlement of the Egyptian question.
