Fatal Accident at Palmerston

Considerable excitement prevailed on Saturday evening, when it became known throughout the town that a very severe accident had happened to a man named John Fagan, through a fall from his horse, from which it was 1 probable he would not recover. la consequence a crowd collected in the ; vicinity, and within half an hour it transpired that the poor fellow had succumbed to his injuries without anpr sign of consciousness. An inquest was held yesterday morning, when the jury, without retiring, brought in a verdict to the effect that death resulted accidentally through a fall from a hone.— Times.
