Trouble at the Aucklaad Lunatic Asylum

[PER UNITED PRKSS ASSOCIATION.}* A pck ea nd. Novem ber 19. A crisis has- arisen in the managementoftheLunaticAsylumowingtathe disagreement of Dr Cremonini, medical superintendent, and staff. All the latter have resigned ; and Dr McGregor, wha arrived from Wellington accepted the resignations. The dsipute is exciting a large amount of attention. Dr Gremonini denies the statement that he has been overbearing and tyrannical to tb» staff at the asylum. Two of the staff have since withdrawn their resignations. Some of the male attendants had keys communicating with the female portion of the asylum, and, as a natter of oommon sense and prudence, he caused them to be given up to him. Be was determined that the asylum should be carried oa ia * modem and scieattfio principle.
