Zirkoff , not • ZankofE as previously stated, has. been appointed member of the Council of the Regency in place of Karanoloff.
The King of Denmark has refused to sanction Prince Waldemar's acceptance of the throne of Bulgaria, and Waldemar has therefore declined the proffered honor.

The Russian Government favour Prince Nicolas of Mengrelia as candidate for the throne of Bulgaria.

; Count Kalnoky, the Premier, ;in addressing the Hungarian delegation, discussed at length the political situation in Eastern Europe, and declared that Austria had insisted on ■ the execution of the .Treaty of Berlin in its integrity. The Austrian Premier declared that he greatly valued the" assurances made by Lord Salisbury in his speech, as showing that support from England would be available should it be required.
