L5; onion«, Ll4 ; cheese, 6>l to 6 j'l ; h.nns and bacon (Canterbury), 7d. f;irmers' cure, 4rl ; fresh butter, (s<i to 7|d . inferior, 4d to sd. Ihe mine of new potatoes hns unproved in consequence of ■ the arrival of snmll shipments, and are now in full demand at Id per Ib for wholesale parcels, while retail quantities should be worth an advance on that of a £d l»- fd per II) ; rimbarb finds ready «ale at 4s 6d to 5s per d<>z ; green peas. Is 6d per peck ; eg«s, 9d, with a slight upward tendency. We report poultry without alteration. Supplies of fruit have been well sustained, and such descriptions as oranges, mandarins, pines, Hobart apples, bananas, cocoanuts and peanuts are now in the market, and on the whole prices all round are satisfactoT-" __=
