Serious Charge Against a LetterCarrier

Dale, employed for a number Of years as a letter-carrier, was charged at the Police Court with stealing" a ',".' . letter containing three one pound bank notes. He was remanded for eight days. The accused was well-known from his connection with the Oddfellows and Volunteers. He admitted the offence to the postmaster and the police.
