Sir G. Grey's Gift to the City of Auckland
[PER UNITED PHRSB ASSOCIATION.] Auckland, November 12. The City Counoil last night authorised the Mayor to send some person to Kawau to consult with Sir George Grey as to the removal of his library to the new building here. Besides the book?, Sir GK Grey has resolved to <?ive to the city his collection of South Sea Island curiositios, which will be i placed in the entrance hall of the Free I Library. It is expected that all will | be placed before the Library is opened. :
