RULES AND REGULATIONS. '■■ 1 . No entry will be received for any race except upon this condition. — That all disputes; claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be dicided by a majority* of tbe Stewards present or those whom' they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with ■the carrying out of the programme shall be final. I 2. All entries , to be sealed and adjdressed to the Hon. Secretary; Foxton, •with the name, age at the time ef entry, pedigree, name ef the owner, aud the Colours of the rider. All entries and nominations must be in the hands of the Secretary at the stated time and place as advertised, accompanied by the amount of nominations and entrance money, Post Marks will not be received under any pretence, whatever, and nominations unpaid at the time of the due date, of weights, will be struck out of the list. 3. When two or more horses start, the property of the same owner, a distinguishing colour must be wern. 4. Any. jockey riding except in the colours entered will be fined 3 soys. 5. All raises to be run under the Wanganui J. C. Rules. 6. Horses walking over will only receive half the stakes. 7. AU protests must be ra writing, accompanied, by a fee of 2 soys. -8. All. persons intending to withdraw horses, are required to give written notice to that effect to the Secretary or Clerk of the Scales, one half-hour before the time fixed for starting.
