New Zealand Loan

Disappointment was felt at the result, which was expected to; be better after the announcement that the loan had gone to j 1 per cent, premium. The low price is attributed by Ministers to the New South Wales deficit. London, October ! 4. Tenders for the New Zealand loan of £I,s67, Boo amounted to £2, 100,000. Tenders at £97 0s 6d will receive in full. There were 416 tenders. One syndicate tendered for three-quarters of a million at £97.
