Captain Edwin telegraphs to-day-Warnings for heavy gales have been sent to al' stations. The Rey. Joshua Jones baa been definitely appointed to the Lower Hutt parish, by the Bishop of WeUington. Mr Jones will leave Feilding in a few weeks. We have no information as to who will be his successor. A special cablegram to the Melbourne Telegraph states that the Beach-Gaudaur ra c was characterised as phenoininal and was really tho grandest oa> record.
