F. R. JACKSON & CO.'S REPORT. There is an improved demand for all , descriptions of stock since our last report. Our quotations are as follows : — Cattle. — Ashurst— 3-yr bullocks, £4 5/-; 2_-yr mixed, £3 1'- to £3 13/6; 18---mo steers, £2 12/6 to £2 15/-. Palmerston— 3-yr bullocks, £4 3/6 ; 2-yr mixed, £2 17/6 to £3 8 /- ; fat cows, £4 15/- ; 3-yr heifers, £2 15/-; yr steers. £2 1/- ; mixed yearlings, £1 12/6; cows and heifers in low condition, £2 6/-. St. Hill Street— Cows, £2 to £2 17/6 ; 2-yr steers, £3 3/- ; mixed weasers, 34/- ; 3-yr bullocks, £4. Pigs. — A large number came forward, aud were bought chiefly for the West Coast.
