*, [per united press association] Wellington, October 1. The Custom's revenue for September, collected at the principal ports, is as follows :— Auckland, £27,574 10s 6d; Wellington, £21,906 145 2 d; Lyttleton and Christchurch, £17,135 9s 6d; Dunedin, £28,330 16s lid; total for the colony, £113,338 15s 4d, being a decrease of £11,000 odd on September of last year, and an increase of over £5000 on last month. The beer duty collected at the principal towns is as follows :— Auckland, £774 6s lOd; Wellington, £455 13s 8d ; Christchurch, £706 6s 4d ; Duuedin, £793 2s 6d ; total for the colony, £3734 lis 4d, being an increase of £300 on the previous month, and a decrease of £300 en September of last year.
