Coloured Men in Foresters' Courts
At the Forester* 1 High Court at Leicester, the questiom at admitting coloured men to American courts waft again discussed at great length, and after several motiens had been submitted it was finally resolved unanimously that the High Court, whilst affirming the undesirability, in princi- | pie, of refusing admission to the Order I to any man on account ef colour, creed or nationality, recognises that in deference to the opinion of the Subsidiary High Court of America, it would be unwise to enforce the law haying " that object in view, but trusts to the good sense of Amerioan brethren to open the courts to all men at the'^earliest possible moment. • .:.
