Attempted Suicide at Auckland
- [PBB UNITBD PBBBS ASSOCIATION. J Auckland. September 24. An old man named Archibald Smith , who, about two weeks ago, attempted to cut his threat, made another unsuccessful endeavor tp commit suicide last night at the Governor Brown* Hetel, hy swallowing a quantity of " vermis killer" in a glass of beer. He was removed to the hospital. H* stated that he has a cousin, -who is a wealthy solicitor in Queensland. H* also said he was tired of his life and mad with grief.
