To Travel this Season in Manawatu and Rangitikei Districts THE CLYDESDALE STALLION GUY FAWKES. (^ UY FAWKES is a light bay, stands T 17 hands high, with immense bone and muscle. He was bred by Mr John Heslop of Puka Tapu, Hawkes Bay, aud was foaled in 1880. Guv Fawkes is by Eobin Adair (imported from Victoria) out of Nellie. Eobin Adair was by Eantin' Eobin (imported Champion Horse of Scotland) out of Darling (imported —Champion Mare of Scotland), i.antin' Kobin won many first prizes at one and two years old and at three, four and live years se« cured the highest prizes at the Selkirk* shire and Midlothian shows, the Highland society's first prize at Dumfries and gold medal at Perth. Darling also won first prizes from yearling up to six-year old, at Ayr, Glasgow, Highland Society's, Sterling, Perth, and a large number of other shows. Eobin Adair was bought by Mr Heslop from his former owner for £1000, as a yearling in 1878. Nellie, Guy Fawke's dam, was also imported from Victoria. She is by Kilbirnie's Champion (imported from Scotland) For Nellie's further pedigree see Vol. 3, N. Z. Stud Book. Guy Fawkes will stand in Rangitiicei Line and travel to Sundon and Rangilikci on Mondays, return on Tuesday via Campbelltown ; Palmerston on Wednesday ; Feilding Friday, returning home on Saturday. Terms :— Single mare, £3 10s ; two or more mares as per agreement. All fees payable by P.N. due 4th January 1887. Secure paddocks provided till Ist December. All care taken but no responsibility.
