Burial of Master Freddy Bray

The funeral of the third son of Mr C Bray, which took place yesterday, was very largely attended, evincing the high esteem in which the family and lelatives of the deceased are held in the Borough. About two o'clock friends began to assemble in Grey street, where Mr Bray resides. At about half past two the procession was formed. The Juvenile Foresters Court, of which deceased was a member, headed the cortege. As each lad carried several floral wreaths and iminortells the effect was very pleasing. Then followed the hearse containing the casket. Mr Bray, with his two ■ons, Charles and William ; Mr Aitken, and his sons ; Mr Linton, and his son ; were the chief mourners. After these marched the footmen, who in their turn were immediately followed by breaks, carriages, and horsemen, making in all about two hundred persons. Arriving at St. John's Church, the Curate, the Rev. Joshua Jones, read the beautiful and impressive burial service of the Church, of England. The choir boys were all in their places, robed in their surplices. At the conclusion of the service the procession was again formed in the same order, only those who came on foot were accommodated with seats in the vehicles. On arrival at the Cemetery the concluding portion of the burial service was read, after which the assemblage dispersed.
