Arrest of Stubbs for Manslaughter
[PSB UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wakoanui, This Day. Alfred Stubbs, Hotelkeoper, was arrested to-day charged with tho manslaughter of the native Ruhiruhi who it is alleged, died from the effects of rough usage received. Stubbs was remanded for 8 days. Bail— £200 in his own recognisances and two sureties of £100 each.
