The following letter has been handed to uu for publicatioa :— His Worship the Mayor, Feilding. Sib, — I have the honor to acknowledge receipt of petition, dated 21st inst., signed /by yourself and other .residents at Feilding, against the removal of Mr Roche, station master, and, in reply, regret to state that circumstances render it necessary that, in' the interests' of the public service Mr Boche should be moved, but I hope to place a capable officer in his stead, who will, I trust, give every satisfaction. — I have; &c.
