The Australian Cricketers
[bEUTBB's TELKGBA.MB.I 1 LoNBON, Julj23. The cricket match, Australians r. Yorkshire, was resumed at Huddersfield to-day, the weather being again inclement, and the attendance consequently small. The Home team, with 30 runs for no wickets, continued their second innings, and when five wiokets had fallen, play had to be suspended, in consequence of the rain, the Boore standing at 145 runs, the highest contributors being Hall 34, and Bates 32. July 24. The match, Australians r. Yorkshire was resumed to-day. The Home team continued their first innings, which closed for 258. The Australians then , went to the wickets, and were all disposed of for 169. The visitors being 89 behind, the Yorkshiremea followed on. At the conclusion of the day's play they had scored 24 without the Toss «f a wicket. The match waj» drawn. ■
