[PEB UNITED PBESS ASSOCIATION.} Haweba, This Day. Inspector Pardy with nine constables went out to Lsagth's farni this morning and found the natiyes had decamped in the night. The poles they had planted in the ground were pulled down, and' had left eleven kits of potatoes behind. The police went to a neighboring pay and the chief in replying to questions said he had acted according to Te Whiti's in-structioi-s, he must go and talk to Te Whiti. The police warned him that he would be arrested if he did, it again. The natives were silent and sullen. Shortly after another small body of natives, 11 in number rode right tLrmgh Lysaght's land to" the scene of the building and were turned back by .the police and warned. A. good number of natives left Taipovoheuui by the back road ior the same place Every ' consideration was shown by the police but they intend to arrert the ringleaders if any mischief is done. The geueral impression , is that this is another protest on the land question, and although no violence is probable, the natives intend to cnuse a good deal of trouble all over the coast by actions similar to those i r t Lysaght's.
