The vote of want ef confidence in the' Ministry, proposed by Vir Parkei, was negatived in the Legislative Assembly, last night by 52 to 17 The bill giving effect to the resolution in favor of the grant of £10,000 to Sir John Robertson, passed through com mittee of the Assembly.

The Legislative Assemlrly has been sitting continuously since yesterday afternoon, in consequence of Opposition members stonewalling the bill to give effect to the altera' iois in the Customs duties.

The Assembly is still sitting, the Hnuse being in committee on the Customs Bill. The galleries have been closed and a point has btx>n raised that there is no House, as the Spea^r did not lake the chair today, Grenl confusion exists in -he^Chamber, «n-l Mft«sr* Sbeppard nnd Wisdom are suspended for disorderly conduct.
