Meteorological Report for the week ended ' Friday, July 2, 1886. The following table shows the readings of the barometer and rain guage at 9.30 a.m. on the days mentioned, and the maximum and minimum temperature during the preceding 24 hours : —
The total rainfall for June was 4.52 inches and rain was registered on 23 days in the month; for June 1885 the rainfall was 1.96 inches ; for June 1884 the rainfall was 2.68 inches; for June 1883 the r.iinfall was 3.37 inches; the total rainfall for the past six months was 20.23 inches; for the first six months of 1885 it was 13.46 inehos ; for the first six months in 1884 it was 15.34 inches, and for tho first six months of 1883 it was 24.14 inches.
