(PBB UNITED PBBBS ASSOCIATION.) Wellington, June 24. An outbreak ef fire occurred shortly before 2 a.m. in Mesitni Hiwlop and Co.'s jeweller's shop. The Fire Brigade soon extinguished the flumes. The total inRurnnres e£E«cted, bj the firm are, stock and fittings, £1,000 in the Colonial, of which £260 is reinsured in the North British and £250 in the Lendon and Lancashire; atoek £600 in the National, of which £250 ii in the Kquitable. Messrs Hislop and Co. hare been unablr to ascertain definitely the extent of the damage, but beliere that their lost will exceed the amount of insurance.
