Auckland, June 17.

Consequent on the destruction of pasture on the Kast Coast by the volcanic eruption, fat cattle and sheep are being forwarded from there to the Auckland market in greater number than arc required. Prices are very low. No fai stock should be sent from the Went Coast for two or three weeks, wh«n consignments from the East Coast will cease.
