Last night Mr Mountf ort and his staff of surveyors returned from the Feilding Small Farm Association's Block, having completed their work. We are glad to knew that Mr Merchant, the Commissioner of Crown Lande, 5 is well satisfied with th« manner in -which, the several sections have been laid off. A number of intending settlers have recently visited their allotments , wiftu a view to making' arrangements for building. . residences, clearing the land for" cultivation, &c, There can be no do.ubt that this will soo^ be one of the mostr vigorous and prosper^ 1 ous^aew settlements in^he colony, iriasmucE as it has started with everything in its favor.
